BRSAF announces two new Named Funds
The Boothbay Region Student Aid Fund (BRSAF) is pleased to announce the establishment of two new Named Funds that will support Boothbay Region High School graduates and alumni pursuing education and training beyond high school.
The Joe & Jill Doyle Fund reflects the Doyle family's commitment to educational opportunity and will help BRSAF continue its mission of providing need-based grants to local students. The fund includes a preference for students pursuing studies in business or entrepreneurship and will assist future students in pursuing their educational goals.
Separately, the Bua Family Fund was recently established to support educational opportunities across the many programs and pathways served by BRSAF. The fund will provide assistance to students pursuing higher education, technical training, trade schools, graduate studies, and other approved educational programs while strengthening BRSAF's ability to address unmet financial need.
"We are grateful to the Doyle and Bua families for their generosity and their commitment to the students and families of the Boothbay Region," said Angelo DiGiulian, executive director of BRSAF. "Both families have been generous and consistent supporters of BRSAF and the Boothbay Region community for many years. These Named Funds will expand opportunities for future students while reducing the financial barriers that often stand in the way."
Grants are based on the individual's financial need. As the cost of higher education increases, so does the commitment of BRSAF to assist Boothbay Region High School graduates and alumni pursuing education beyond high school, whether through a university, community college, technical school, trade school, certificate program, or graduate degree.
Together, we are opening doors, changing lives, and building a stronger community—one student at a time.
