The Boothbay Region High School boys tennis team improved its overall record to 13-1 with a 5-0 win at home at the Boothbay Region YMCA in the quarterfinal tournament match against the Madison Bulldogs on Friday, May 29.

With the win, the top-seeded Seahawks will next face the fourth-seeded North Yarmouth Academy Panthers at home, with the match scheduled for Wednesday, June 3, time to be announced. The Panthers defeated fifth-seeded Mountain Valley, 5-0, to advance against Boothbay. On May 19 at BRHS, NYA edged Boothbay 3-2, winning third singles and both doubles matches.
