An evening with Ball in the House is like no other: their special brand of music is a combination of R&B, soul and pop that brings all ages to their shows. They gained national recognition after appearing on America's Got Talent. Known for their high-energy, beatboxing-heavy shows, they have opened for such luminaries as The Beach Boys, The Jonas Brothers, The Temptations, Gladys Knight and Lionel Richie. The group will bring their exuberance to the Opera House at Boothbay Harbor on Thursday, July 30 at 7:30 p.m.

Based in Boston, MA, Ball In The House is a highly sought-after vocal band that performs over 200 concerts per year. They have played theaters, performing arts centers, fairs, festivals, and traveled the world over. They headlined both the 2016 and 2018 China International Chorus Festival, and in 2016, won the Boston Harmony Sweepstakes and were voted APCA Band of the Year and Best of Boston for Outstanding Musical Performers.

Beyond performing, the group shares their musical gifts through an educational outreach program. Bringing nearly three decades of experience in educating and inspiring students, Ball in the House’s interactive cultural arts programs provide enrichment to the lives of students, as well as the community at large. One teacher said of the experience, “An amazingly talented professional group that wows the crowd with spectacular music and fascinating stories about where their music originated.
