American Legion buffet breakfast Aug. 2
The big question of the weekend comes up on Sunday morning. Where do you want to go for breakfast?
There’s an easy answer for that. If it’s Sunday, Aug. 2, breakfast is ready for you at the American Legion Hall in Boothbay.
A crew of smiling volunteers serves traditional delicious breakfast dishes including scrambled eggs, pancakes, toast, sausages, bacon, hash browns, baked beans, Belgian waffles and fruit, with coffee, tea, OJ and water.
The breakfasts run on alternating Sundays from now until November, from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Aug. 2, 16 & 30, Sept. 13 & 27, Oct. 11 & 25 and Nov. 8. The donation has been cut to $10. Kids 11 and under eat for $5. Little ones under 6 eat free.
The Charles E. Sherman Jr. post, American Legion Hall is at 25 Industrial Park Road in Boothbay near the Railway Village.
