Jane Krebs, 67, of Lewiston, formerly of Boothbay, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2026, at Russell Park Living Center in Lewiston. 

Born on June 12, 1959, in Brooklyn, New York, Jane was the daughter of Edgar and Anna (Lippert) Krebs. She graduated from Islip High School. Although life's path brought unexpected challenges, Jane faced them with resilience and remained known for her warm spirit, friendly nature, and willingness to help others. 

Jane had a bubbly personality and enjoyed connecting with people. Her kindness, sociability, and genuine care for those around her left a lasting impression on family, friends, and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. 

She was predeceased by her parents, Edgar and Anna Krebs, and her brother, Robert Krebs. 

Jane is survived by her brother, Dieter Krebs and his wife, Rosemary, of Wappingers Falls, New York, niece Michele (Richard) Bohlinger, nephew Karl (Danielle) Krebs, great-niece Kaitlyn Krebs, and great-nephews Robert Bohlinger and Michael Krebs. 

Her family will honor her life privately. Jane will be interred alongside her parents and brother at Evergreen Cemetery in Boothbay.
