Rotary Barn closing for the season on Dec. 14
The Boothbay Harbor Rotary Club is planning to keep the Big Gray Rotary Club Barn Open every Saturday from 8:30 to 11 a.m. until Dec. 14, weather permitting, of course.We now have fabulous Christmas decor for sale,along with furniture, tools, collectibles, rugs, dishes, pots/pans or anything else you might need.If you can't find it at the Rotary Club Barn, just come back the next Saturday, your neighbor probably donated just what you wanted during that week. Just remember to wear your warm coats, hats and mittens.The Rotary Club Barn is not heated.
Our friendly pick-up crews will continue to pick up your donations till the Saturday before Thanksgiving, Nov. 23. We will also gladly accept your donations when dropped off during our open Saturday hours until Dec. 14.
Then, the Big Gray Rotary Club Barn will be quiet and we'll all take a much-needed rest around our home fires till early April 2025.
Your donations and purchases make a difference in our community and our world. They support the work of The Boothbay Harbor Rotary Club which includes hosting over 80 local Veterans and their families for a Veterans Appreciation Dinner.The Rotary Club donates over $20,000 yearly in Scholarships for Advanced Education and students pursuing work in the skilled trades. Your donations are turned into support for The Boothbay VETS project, the Community Fridge, the Community Resource Council, the Boothbay Land Trust, the Boothbay YMCA, the High School Rotary Interact Club and so much more. We also donate to international projects like “Shelter Box”, a Rotary Foundation project that provides disaster relief temporary housing around the world.
