Jeff Mao brings Prosperity & Good Fortune: Chinese Wonton Dumplings to Wiscasset Middle High School from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4. Learn to make Chinese dumplings with pork filling and multiple styles of folding using wonton wrappers. Additionally, you will make your own Sichuan-style chili oil and learn about other common Chinese condiments used for dipping sauces. All ingredients and equipment provided.
Wiscasset Middle High School will also host another Landscape Paint Night with Heather Grotton-Emerson from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12. Learn to paint a landscape step by step. No previous experience needed. The instructor will take you through a watch-and-do session and bring out your inner artist. All materials supplied.
Maine Mariners hockey tickets are still available for the special adult education game night on Feb. 7 to support Boothbay-Wiscasset Regional Adult Education and other local adult ed programs. $5 from every ticket sold will go to an adult learner scholarship.
