Vote for Heather Sinclair
Dear Editor:
There is a certain kind of magic in a small-town school like Edgecomb Eddy. I know this because I have two children who went through that school; they grew up within its walls, and they loved every minute of it. To a parent, those years are precious, and the school is more than just a building—it is the heart of our community.
But that heart only keeps beating because of people like Heather Sinclair.
Public service is often a lonely, thankless path. While others spend their energy on attacks and political noise, Heather is quietly doing the heavy lifting. I think of the long nights she spends away from her own family, the hours of "behind-the-scenes" work no one sees, and the courage it took for her to stand up in Augusta to fight for the funding our kids deserve. She isn't doing it for a title or a "thank you." She does it because she looks at our children and sees a future worth protecting.
Our children are the best of us. They deserve a champion who leads with love and tireless dedication. Heather Sinclair has proven, through her sweat and her service, that she is that champion. Please join me on May 16 in voting for the person who has always had our children’s backs. Let’s have hers.
