The Lincoln County Democratic Committee (LCDC) invites all community members to its annual Family Fun Day Lobster Bake on Sunday, Aug. 3, from noon to 3 p.m. at the beautiful Cider Hill Farm, 785 Main Street, Waldoboro.

The committee is thrilled to announce that Chellie Pingree, U.S. Representative for Maine's 1st Congressional District, and Charlie Dingman, Chair of the Maine Democratic Committee, will be the featured speakers.

Their insights will make this event even more special, and we can’t wait to hear from them. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to join in the conversation, enjoy great food, and celebrate community with these distinguished guests!

Now in its 40th year, this summer tradition brings together year-rounders and seasonal residents alike for an afternoon of fun, camaraderie, and fantastic food. Whether you’re a long-time supporter or just curious to meet your neighbors and local leaders and candidates, this event is open to all.

Enjoy a social hour starting at noon, followed by a classic lobster dinner at 1 p.m. with live music, freshly shucked local oysters, and the chance to mingle informally with local elected officials and Democratic candidates and listen to short speeches from featured speakers. It’s grassroots politics at its best—up close and personal.
