On Thursday, Aug. 13, the tall ship, Sail Training vessel, the SSV Corwith Cramer, will be coming to Boothbay Harbor to disembark students, conduct promotional events, and allow the public to learn more about their educational programs. This visit is a rare chance for the public to see the ship up close.

The Sea Education Assn. (SEA) has been operating educational programs for high school and college students on tall ships for over 50 years.Corwith Cramer is a 134' brigantine-rigged sailing school vessel, used to teach science at sea, navigation, and mariners’ skills.

Public tours will be conducted Saturday, Aug. 15 from 3 to 5 p.m. Visitors can walk the deck and hear directly from the crew and science faculty about SEA's programs. Registration is recommended: development@sea.edu. Questions: 508-444-1914.
