Southport retaining wall and pier repairs approved

    The Southport Planning Board approved a building permit to repair a retaining wall and pier damaged by January 2024 storms. The board approved Robert and Leigh Garry's request for their Breakneck Hill Road property. The board meets next at 5 p.m. Monday, Aug. 4 in the town hall.
