Aaron Aldrich, 44, of Edgecomb was arrested June 27 for Domestic Violence Assault on Route One in Edgecomb by Dep. Jerold Winslow who was assisted by Sgt. Kevin Dennison and Dep. Samuel Alexander.

Jonathan Hackett, 66, of Dresden was arrested June 28 for Violating Condition of Release on Amy Circle in Dresden by Dep. Nathaniel Aronson who was assisted by Sgt. Scott Hayden.

Accidents

On June 24, an accident occurred on Gardiner Road in Dresden involving Jacqueline L. Plachta, 63, of Whitefield and Thomas M. Anderson, 28, of Wiscasset. Ms. Plachta was operating her 2024 Kia Nitro and was turning off Route 27 onto Blinn Hill Road in Dresden. She cut the corner to close and struck a 2017 Fiat 500 operated by Mr. Anderson who was on Blinn Hill Road slowing down for the intersection. Dep. Caleb Poirier was the investigating officer.

On June 25, an accident occurred on Bunker Hill Road in Jefferson involving Ellen J. Sawyer, 73, of Jefferson. Ms. Sawyer was operating a 2017 Buick Encore traveling south when a deer ran out in front of her and was struck. Dep. Ethan Burns was the investigating officer.

On June 25, an accident occurred on Wiscasset Road in Boothbay involving Peter Dusseault, 70, Boothbay. Mr. Dusseault was operating a 2023 Porsche Cayenne north when a deer entered the roadway and was struck. Dep. Caleb Poirier was the investigating officer.

On June 26, an accident occurred on Middle Road in Dresden involving Jacob M. Antworth, 28, of Augusta. Mr. Antworth was operating his 2017 Nissan Versa south when a deer entered the roadway and was struck. Dep. Ethan Burns was the investigating officer.

On June 27, an accident occurred on Atlantic Highway in Waldoboro involving Brian W. Collamore, 58, of Waldoboro. Mr. Collamore was operating a 2023 Ford Explorer north when a deer entered the roadway and was struck. Dep. Nathan Yeaton was the investigating officer.
