Author C.W. Wells at Southport library July 10
Local author Charlie Britton, better known by his pen name C.W. Wells, will speak at Southport Memorial Library on Wednesday, July 10 at 6:30 p.m, offering readers a behind-the-scenes look at his newest novel, "Lobster Trap."
Wells’ latest book, published by Creative Texts, is a fast-paced, comedic thriller that captures the humor of Maine’s coast. Set in a fictional town, "Lobster Trap" follows Pixie McGee, a former stripper turned real estate empress, as she battles a corrupt corporation, genetically engineered lobsters, and small-town drama.
This event promises insights into Wells’ creative process. A former reporter and educator turned novelist, Wells is also the author of "Eight-Man Cowboy," "Lonestar," and "No Heart to Kill." His unique blend of wit and suspense has earned him a loyal following.
Copies of Lobster Trap will be available for purchase and signing. The event is free and open to the public.
