Southport Memorial Library will host Principal Shawn Gallagher on Thursday, Aug. 13 at 10 a.m. as he outlines exciting new volunteer opportunities at Southport Central School.

Volunteers will help create a safe space for children to explore and play at the new SCS After School Play Club. No lesson planning or activity organizing required. You get to step back, enjoy the outdoors, and let the kids lead the way.

At SCS, we believe play is the most vital work a child can do to build confidence, creativity, and a strong sense of self. Come learn how you can get involved and help make our After School Play Club a resounding success for Southport’s kids. We hope to see you on Aug. 13 at the library.
