Sign up for America's boating club safety course
In the spirit of Safe Boating Week, the United States Sail & Power Squadron will offer America’s Boating Course on Saturday, Oct. 17 between 7:15 a.m. and 5 p.m.
The Boothbay Region YMCA in Boothbay Harbor is host of this marathon, one day four-session class.
The most comprehensive in-person course available, America’s Boating Course gives you the skills to enjoy being on the water with confidence. This boater safety class is taught by certified teachers and meets most states’ certification requirements. An NASBLA examination given at the end of time is included.

The United States Sail & Power Squadron is a 108-year-old nationwide non-profit voluntary organization dedicated to upholding safe boating through education, public service, and social links between all who enjoy being on the water.
