Siding with RFK Jr.
Dear Editor:
RFK Jr. is 100% right in what he’s doing at the CDC. The CDC has not been following “the science” for a long time, instead, they have been following “the politics.”
Let’s take Covid-19 as an example.
Did we “follow the science” or did we “follow the politics?"
First we had the dire prediction of how bad it would be. Someone in England came up with a huge number based on the deaths from the Spanish Flu and the populations then and now. What he failed to account for was that more than half died from complications of the flu, pneumonia, not the flu itself. The Spanish Flu was in 1918, penicillin didn’t become available until 1928. Prior to penicillin pneumonia was a death sentence.
Then we had the guidelines from the CDC who took their lead from the WHO, who took it from China.
Was it good science to quarantine healthy people with sick people? No. Was it good science to not treat the illness? No.
India had 374 deaths/million while the United States had 3,590 deaths/million. Why the big discrepancy?
India treated the illness, we did not. They treated it because they did not have the infrastructure to hospitalize their population and stuff ventilators down their throats. They treated it with hydroxychloroquine, Ivermectin and many other drugs.
As for his “anti-vacs” status, he’s not. He thinks they should not be mandated and better information should be given on who should take or need to take them. Take for example the measles. My five siblings and I as well as my wife and her four siblings all had the measles as children and all survived, including my older brother who had many health problems. By RFK’s guideline my brother should have had the vaccine (had it been available).
