Murder Mystery Auditions September 15 & 16 for Community Theater at The Waldo

The Waldo Theatre, located at 916 Main Street, invites area actors to audition for its fall production of Murdering the Mob, a seriously silly murder mystery with plenty of audience-participation. The play takes place on a celebratory evening in 1927 for the opening of Louie’s Place: the city’s newest speakeasy. Open auditions will be held on September 15 and 16 at 6:30pm, with a potential call-back on September 18.  Both new and experienced actors are welcome.  Actors will be asked to read scenes from the script and to try some improvisation: no monologues required. Five performances are scheduled at The Waldo November 14-23. Script excerpts are available by sending requests to info@thewaldotheatre.org.
