Rotary Barn rand re-opening April 4
The Big Gray Rotary Club Barn opens for its sixth season on Saturday April 4 as sure a sign of spring as spring peepers and potholes. Be there to help us celebrate, 66 Montgomery Road, Boothbay Harbor from 8:30 to 11 a.m. But, dress warmly, the big gray barn has great bargains and hard to find items, but alas no heat. The current plan is to be open every Saturday from 8:30 to 11 selling furniture, collectibles, tools and household goods. It’s a lot of fun. You might get a chance to meet new people and take home a special treasure. And while you visit , ask us about the Rotary. We always welcome new members!
The Big Gray Rotary Barn was just cleaned out and refilled with treasures. We didn’t take donations for the barn all winter, the pickup crew was hibernating. But we are ready now! We need your donations - especially furniture, patio furniture, gardening pots and tools, lamps, dishes, linens, small appliances, collectibles, rugs, kitchenware, pots and pans, etc. We are also taking tools and hardware. Oh, and art too.
When you start, or continue, your spring cleaning and want to schedule a pick up or delivery just text or call 207-619-1417 and leave a message. Oh, we take boats, too. We currently have several boats for sale. The Boothbay Harbor Rotary Club is a 501(c)3 organization and all your donations are tax deductible.
All profits from sales at the Rotary Club Barn support local and international non-profit programs and institutions. We are proud of our support of the Rotary Interact Club at Boothbay Region High School and our yearly donations to the Boothbay Region Scholarship Fund. We have delivered over 3,500 pints of homemade soup to the Boothbay Region Food Pantry, and groceries monthly to the Community Fridge. We've supported the BCRC Fuel Fund, the Boothbay VETS, the BR Ambulance, YMCA camperships, and so much more. All made possible by your donation or your purchase of furniture, a lamp, a boat or anything from the Rotary Club Barn. So do your heart and community good, buy often … at the Rotary Club Barn.
We look forward to seeing you April 4, weather permitting. In case of a snowstorm we will delay until the following Saturday, April 11.
