Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office: 4 arrests
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 276 calls for service for the period of March 10 to March 17. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 2,611 calls for service.
Summonses
A 17-year-old male juvenile from Bristol was issued a summons March 10 for Possession of Marijuana, by Deputy Jerold Winslow.
James R. Wilkinson, 35, of Jefferson was issued a summons March 11 for Littering, on Ridge Road, Newcastle, by Deputy Kasey Doyle.
Keith A. Childs, 56, of Whitefield was issued a summons March 13 for Failure to Submit to Fingerprinting, on Main Street, Newcastle, by Deputy Samuel Alexander.
Arrests
Michael A. Duffy, 42, of Camden was arrested March 11 for Violating Condition of Release, at Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset, by Detective Jared Mitkus.
Issac M. Monroe-Gipson, 25, of Dresden was arrested March 12 for Domestic Violence Assault; Domestic Violence Criminal Threatening and Criminal Mischief, on Taryn Drive, Dresden, by Deputy Ethan Burns.
Camron D.M. Hopkins, 26, of Waldoboro was arrested March 16 for Violating a Protection Order and Violating Condition of Release, on Evergreen Estates Road, Nobleboro, by Deputy Nathan Yeaton.
Zachary S. Spear, 39, of Boothbay Harbor was arrested March 16 for Operating Under the Influence, on East Side Road, Boothbay, by Deputy Caleb Poirier.
Accidents
On March 12, an accident occurred on Augusta Road in Whitefield involving Francine I. Ngomba, 46, of Auburn. Ms. Ngomba was operating her 2025 Chevrolet Equinox westbound when she struck a deer that entered the roadway. Deputy Samuel Alexander was the investigating officer.
On March 13, an accident occurred on Waldoboro Road in Jefferson involving Felicia L. Williams, 37, of Windsor and Robert N. Lary, 77, of Friendship. Ms. Williams was operating her 2017 Ford Explorer eastbound and Mr. Lary was operating his 2020 Dodge Promaster westbound on Route 32. Williams took a left hand turn into a business in front of Lary’s vehicle, and both vehicles collided almost head on. Williams advised she was blinded by the sun and did not see Lary’s vehicle. Sgt. Scott Hayden was the investigating officer.
On March 13, an accident occurred on Middle Road in Dresden involving Russell B. Kimball, 75, of Dresden and Gregory M. Bodge, 60, of Monmouth. Mr. Kimball was operating his 2015 Honda Accord southbound when Mr. Bodge attempted to turn left onto Patterson Road in his 2019 Dodge Ram 35. As a result, Bodge struck Kimball’s vehicle as it was driving through the intersection. Deputy Ethan Burns was the investigating officer.
