Deena Marie Sole passed away March 3, 2026 at the Hartford Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut. She resided in Oakdale, Connecticut with husband Greg Coffin and three cats Molly, Leaf and Rain, also loves of her life.

Deena graduated from Kelso High School in Kelso, Washington, Husson College, Bangor, and Antioch University New England, Keene, New Hampshire in 2008 with a master of arts in counseling psychology concentrating in substance abuse and addiction. She worked as an LPC, Licensed Professional Counselor in Connecticut.

Deena served in the U.S. Navy from 1986-1993.

Deena was predeceased by her parents, Linda Culbertson of Cedar Falls, Iowa and Frank Sole of Los Angeles, California.

She is survived by her husband, Greg M. Coffin of Oakdale, Connecticut (formerly of Edgecomb, Maine); son Lian Parent of Bangor, Maine; brother Jack Sole of Cedar Falls, Iowa; sister Melissa Houle of Cedar falls, Iowa; brother Nathaniel Culbertson of Cedar Falls, Iowa; half-sister Jennifer Chadwick of Battle Ground, Washington; stepsister Nikki Green of Knoxville, Tennesee. She had an extended family of in-laws, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Services will be at a later date in the spring at the Edgecomb Town Hall, 16 Town Hall Road, Edgecomb, where she and Greg were married Au. 15, 2009 .

Burial will be in the adjacent North Edgecomb Cemetery.
