New coffee shop opens in Boothbay
If you are looking for a great cup of coffee and a friendly place to start your day, visit Grounded Coffee, 21 Common Drive, Boothbay which opened Monday, Sept. 14. The shop will be open daily from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Owners Allie Marquette and Kyle Farmer are excited to begin this new adventure and create a welcoming place where people can gather, catch up with friends, and connect with the community. As parents raising their four children in the Boothbay region, they are looking forward to meeting both familiar faces and new friends. Kyle has especially deep roots in the area, coming from several generations of local families on both sides.
Grounded Coffee will proudly serve Coffee on the Porch, a Maine micro-roaster known for its fresh, small-batch coffee. Beans will be roasted several times each week, giving customers the opportunity to enjoy some of the freshest coffee around. Along with great coffee, visitor can look forward to homemade treats like warm cinnamon rolls, orange-kissed blueberry muffins, carrot cake, cheese and chive scones, and many other baked goods.
"We wanted to create a place where people feel at home," said Allie and Kyle. "Whether you're stopping in for your morning coffee, meeting a friend, or grabbing a pastry on the go, we're excited to welcome everyone through our doors."
