The visiting Madison Bulldogs made 12 three-pointers and cruised to a 69-46 win at Boothbay Region High School Monday, Dec. 22.

The Bulldogs, now 4-1, jumped out to a 21-4 first quarter lead and led by 22 at the half, 36-14.

The Seahawks couldn’t find many open shots against Madison’s swarming defense and turnovers hurt Boothbay, now 2-4.

Jacob Linkletter led Madison with 21 points (six 3-pointers), followed by Tyshawn Hall with 19.

Les White led Boothbay with 12 points, Simeon Bates added eight and scoring six points each were Peyton Barter, Chase Licursi and Ethan Clark.

Boothbay’s next game is Monday, Dec. 29 at home against Oak Hill (1-4) at 6:30.
