Lincoln County Sheriff's Office: 5 arrests
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 277 calls for service for the period of June 17 to June 24. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 6,225 calls for service.
Summons
Riley McDonald, 18, of South Bristol was issued a summons June 22 for Operating without a License, on Main Street, Newcastle, by Deputy Samuel Alexander.
Arrests
Sean A. Boynton, 57, of Jefferson was arrested June 17 on a Probation Violation – Hold charge, on South Clary Road, Jefferson, by Deputy Mark Fortin, who was assisted by Deputy Joseph Booth.
Joshua L. Carter, 35, of South Bristol was arrested June 17 for Unlawful Possession of Scheduled Drug, on School Street, Damariscotta, by Deputy Caleb Poirier.
Leonard Wall, 25, of Bristol was arrested June 19 for Aggravated Furnishing of Scheduled Drugs and Furnishing Liquor to a Minor, on Bristol Road, Bristol, by Deputy Kasey Doyle.
John H. Seavey, 38, of Warren was arrested June 20 on a Kennebec County warrant for Failure to Appear, at Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset, by Deputy Nathaniel Aronson.
Matthew W. Gray, 53, of Bristol was arrested June 22 for Criminal Threatening with a Dangerous Weapon and Threatening Display of Weapon, on State Route 32, Bristol, by Deputy Joseph Booth.
Accidents
On June 17, an accident occurred on Gardiner Road in Dresden involving David R. Sprague, 58, of Wiscasset. Mr. Sprague was operating his 2006 Subaru Legacy southbound when a deer entered the roadway and collided with his vehicle. Deputy Jerold Winslow was the investigating officer.
On June 17, an accident occurred on Gardiner Road in Dresden involving Angelina R. Patriotti, 18, of Wiscasset. Ms. Patriotti was operating her 2017 Subaru Forester northbound when a deer entered the roadway and collided with her vehicle. Deputy Jerold Winslow was the investigating officer.
On June 17, an accident occurred on Bayview Road in Nobleboro involving Amelia K. Phillips, 37, of Newcastle. Ms. Phillips was operating her 2024 Subaru Crosstrek southbound when a deer entered the roadway and was struck. Sgt. Matthew Day was the investigating officer.
On June 19, an accident occurred on Rockland Road in Jefferson involving Gregory R. Basinet, 62, of Whitefield and Alena M. Slocum, 17, of Winthrop. Mr. Basinet was operating his 2012 Chevrolet Silverado westbound and Ms. Slocum was operating her 2009 Honda CR-V behind Basinet’s vehicle. Basinet slowed in traffic and Slocum was unable to slow in time before rear ending Basinet’s vehicle. Slocum stated her foot slipped from the brake to the accelerator. Deputy Ethan Burns was the investigating officer.
On June 21, an accident occurred on US Route 1 in Nobleboro involving David J. Levesque, 59, of Newcastle. Mr. Levesque was operating his 2025 Chevrolet Equinox southbound when a deer traveling from the west ran into the travel lane and struck the left front drivers side quarter panel, before running off into the woods. Deputy Mark Fortin was the investigating officer.
