Lincoln County Sheriff's Office: 4 arrests
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 246 calls for service for the period of Oct. 21 to Oct. 28. and Year to date, LCSO has responded to 12,040 calls for service.
Summons
A 17-year-old female juvenile from Thomaston was issued a summons Oct. 26 for Minor Consuming Liquor, on Weston Road, Bremen, by Deputy Caleb Poirier.
Arrests
Gregory S. Miller, 63, of Pemaquid was arrested Oct. 22 for Domestic Violence Assault, on Bristol Road, Bristol, by Deputy Brandon Maciuba.
Jake M. Wood, 50, of Jefferson was arrested Oct. 23 for Violating Condition of Release, on N. Mountain Road, Jefferson, by Sgt. Scott Hayden.
James R. Kirschmann, 39, of Leeds was arrested Oct. 24 on three outstanding Androscoggin County warrants for Violating Condition of Release, with underlying charges of Possession of Fentanyl & Methamphetamine; Failing to Submit to Arrest and Falsifying Evidence, at Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset, by Deputy Caleb Poirier.
Stephen A. Treadway, 44, of Warren was arrested Oct. 27 for Unlawful Trafficking in Scheduled Drugs, on Route 1, Newcastle, by Deputy Jerold Winslow.
Accidents
On Oct. 21, an accident occurred on Route 1 in Newcastle involving Robert Foster, 70, of Newcastle. Mr. Foster was operating his 2023 Ford F-150 southbound when he struck a deer in the roadway. Deputy Kasey Doyle was the investigating officer.
On Oct. 21, an accident occurred on Route 1 in Newcastle involving Edmee M. Dejean, 69, of Newcastle and Kacey R. Pinkham, 17, of Waldoboro. Ms. Dejean was pulling her 2025 Toyota RAV4 out of Mike’s Place, making a left turn to go northbound on Route 1. Ms. Dejean did not yield the right of way and pulled out in front of Pinkham’s 2014 Subaru Outback, who was traveling northbound on Route 1. As a result, Pinkham struck the rear of Dejean’s vehicle, before going off the road and down an embankment. Deputy Caleb Poirier was the investigating officer.
On Oct. 25, an accident occurred on Gardiner Road in Dresden involving Kerrie Benedict, 37, of Augusta. Ms. Benedict was operating her 2016 Honda Odyssey southbound when a deer ran out into the roadway in front of her vehicle and was struck, causing front passenger side damage. Sgt. Scott Hayden was the investigating officer.
