Jud Caswell to perform at the Bremen Library
Tue, 06/30/2026 - 4:04pm
The Bremen Library is pleased to be hosting musician Jud Caswell on Thursday, July 9 at 5:30 p.m. He is the second of our summer concert series, and will be performing on our outdoor platform deck, weather permitting!
Caswell, a native Mainer, is an award-winning songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who has been performing for more than 25 years. In 2006, he made a splash on the national scene, winning the legendary Kerrville New Folk competition. He’s had his songs taught at Berklee, recorded by Judy Collins, and named “#4 Song of the Decade” by New York’s WFUV.
His album, “Live at the Seagull Shop,” was the number 1 on the Folk Alliance International radio charts in March of 2020. Caswell is currently releasing a series of albums of music that he recorded during the early months of the pandemic.
Bring a chair or blanket (and probably some bug spray!). In the case of inclement weather, concerts will be held indoors in our meeting room and seating will be limited. Overflow parking is at the Town Hall.
The Bremen Library is located at 204 Waldoboro Road. Library hours are Wed 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Thursday 10 a.m. - 7 p.m., Friday 10 am. - 3 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. - noon. The library can be reached at 207-529-5572.
