Lynne paints scenes from life, from memory, and the imagined. Over the years she has worked in watercolor, pastel and now, primarily in oil. Her working background began with 12 years as a fashion illustrator and advertising designer. This was followed by a decade of designing and illustrating greeting cards. Then, 27 years ago, she and artist husband John opened Joy To The Wind Gallery, Studio and Custom Picture Framing Service.

During those years Lynne taught art at their studio, served 14 years on the Boothbay Region Art Foundation board, developed the area's First Friday Art Tours and acted as the managing coordinator for Studio 53 Fine Art (while running Joy To The Wind Gallery with John.) These days Lynne runs their gallery throughout the summer and creates art the rest of the year.  

Joy To The Wind Gallery will be featuring this painting and several new works on canvas by Lynne Seitzer during the month of August. There are many new pieces by John M.T. Seitzer as well.
