If there's one thing better than a cold vanilla ice cream on a hot day, it's a scoop with fresh baked goods. If your ice cream is looking a little lonely, Boothbay Region Historical Society has you covered. Over 25 volunteers from around the community baked a sundry of goods for their bake sale July 3. The society is selling cookies, brownies, cakes, pies and other treats to raise funds from 9 a.m. until they are sold out.
