Guided hike at Plummer Point Preserve with Coastal Rivers
Coastal Rivers Conservation Trust naturalist Sarah Gladu will lead a hike at Plummer Point Preserve in South Bristol from 2 to 3:30p.m. on Friday, Dec. 12.
Plummer Point is a locally popular hiking spot, with its lovely coastal spruce forest and stunning views of the Damariscotta River, Seal Cove, and nearby islands. On this hike, the group willmake a short loop through the woods and stop at the shore to look for seals and seabirds. Participants are encouraged to bring binoculars, or may borrow a pair for the walk.
Hikers should be aware the trails at Plummer Point are characterized by frequentups and downs and uneven footing.
