Gary Sinise & The Lt. Dan Band to play benefit concert for the Travis Mills Foundation in Sidney
The Gary Sinise Foundation proudly presents Gary Sinise & The Lt. Dan Band live in concert at Bowl in the Pines at the Snow Pond Center for the Arts on Sunday, Aug. 3, with a 7 p.m. start.
This unforgettable night of music and patriotism will benefit the Travis Mills Foundation, which supports post-9/11 recalibrated veterans and their families.
“I met Travis Mills about 13 years ago at Walter Reed, not long after he’d lost all four limbs in service to our country. Even then, I was struck by his incredible spirit, his humor, his grit, and his determination to move forward,” said actor and humanitarian Gary Sinise. “Since that day, I’ve continued to be inspired by Travis and the remarkable work of the Travis Mills Foundation. He represents the very outcome we hope for every wounded service member, that they not only survive, but thrive, with the right support around them. That’s what Travis built in Maine. And I’m honored to bring the Lt. Dan Band to his home state to lift spirits, celebrate his mission, and stand alongside him in support of our wounded heroes and their families.”
Held in the outdoor amphitheater at Snow Pond,, this special performance will help fund the Foundation’s life-changing programs—offered at no cost—to injured veterans and their families from Maine and across the country.
“We are thrilled to welcome Gary Sinise & The Lt. Dan Band to Central Maine,” said Heather Labbe, executive director of the Travis Mills Foundation. “This benefit concert is more than just an evening of great entertainment—it’s a celebration of resilience, service, and community.”
Known for their high-energy performances and unwavering support of military families, Gary Sinise & The Lt. Dan Band have performed for thousands of troops around the world. The Aug. 3 show promises to be a night to remember for veterans, families, and supporters alike.
