Dear Editor:

We would like to give a huge thank you to all the businesses and individuals that donated items for the Bobby Blackman Scholarship Fundraiser on Sept. 12. A special thanks goes to Kim Peaslee, Lori Eimen, Ryan Morin and Sue Shifflett that went above and beyond to organize this fundraiser. Thank you to Brian and Cindy at Cook's Landing for the venue where the pig roast was held. Thank you to all the musicians that played music.

We know that our father was looking down on us that day with a big smile on his face. Our father loved helping children, loved a good pig roast party and loved listening and playing music. This would have been his favorite day by far!

Thank you to everyone that came and enjoyed the day to make it a success!

We love you all!
