These four BRHS senior tennis players were honored at their last home match. From left are Sarah Harris, Maddie Andreasen, Abby Orchard and Hannah Kreft. KEVIN BURNHAM/Boothbay RegisterFour seniors on the 2026 Boothbay Region High School girls tennis team were honored for their years of competitiveness and dedication during a pre-match ceremony on the court May 21. Family members were also on hand to receive recognition and were presented with a yellow carnation.
Below are the four seniors, their years on the team and their future plans.
Hannah Kreft, daughter of Michael and Amanda Kreft, has played tennis for four seasons. She plans to attend the University of Maine to study finance and physics.
Abby Orchard, daughter of Jennifer and Eric Orchard, has played tennis for three seasons. She plans to attend Olin College of engineering for mechanical engineering.
Maddie Andreasen, daughter of Michele and Nick Ripley and Greg Andreason, has played tennis for three seasons. She plans to attend Bentley University to study business.
Sarah Harris, daughter of Bruce and Medea Harris, has played tennis for one season. She plans to attend Yale University to study history of science, medicine and public health.
