Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library calls for all hands on deck for our third annual Giving Tuesday (Week!) matching gift campaign. Would you give $10, $25, or $50 knowing that your donation would be DOUBLED? If so, our library is in luck!

All donations made during Dec. 2–Dec. 6 will be matched dollar-for-dollar thanks to several wonderful library patrons and trustees who wish to inspire you to give! Every gift makes a difference. Donate online, by check, or with cash to support this fundraising effort. 

BHML relies on individual donors to fund 40% of the library’s annual operations. These vital expenses include patron library services and programming, collection development, digital resources, building maintenance, and library personnel. On a shoestring budget, our library’s dynamic library services and programming calendar are deftly executed and supported by two dozen dedicated volunteers and 4.5 staff members (three full-time, three part-time). It requires many hands to serve our community, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

In making your personal decision to give, consider the value of the library not just in your life, but in the lives of our community members across the board. Our library is a critical and well-utilized hub for research, technology access, and personal wellness.
