Charlotte W. Henry
Charlotte Winslow Henry, 95, of Boothbay Harbor, Maine passed away peacefully under the compassionate and loving care of St Andrews Zimmerli Nursing Home nurses and staff and Beacon Hospice.
She was born Oct. 2, 1930to Malcolm and Gertrude (Beale) Loring of New York City and Maine.
Charlotte held a master’s degree in literature and English from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. She retired as the English Department chairman and supervisor of the English Department at Northwest Regional High School in Winsted, Connecticut.
She is survived by son, Mark Winslow and daughter-In-Law Andrea Winslow of Pittsford, Vermont and son Jay Winslow of Pleasant Valley, Connecticut. She leaves two granddaughters (Charlotte and Sydney), three grandsons (James, Michael and John), and two great-grandsons (Luke and Jack). In addition, she leaves stepdaughtersGail Falardeau, Noel Bodwell, Dawn Moore, Pamela Centrella and their families.
Charlotte was predeceased by husband Richard Winslow in 1979 and husband John Henry in 2009.
A long-time resident of her ‘beloved 204’ independent apartment at St Andrews Village, she enjoyed her time and always appreciated all of the caring employees, with a special thank you to Barbara Marr.
As per Charlotte’s wishes, private services are planned.
