Charlotte Nutt for State House District 48
Dear Editor:
The phrase “Think globally, act locally” asks that we consider the health of the entire planet before taking action in our own communities. Citizens in House District 48 (Westport Island, Southport, Boothbay Harbor, Boothbay, Edgecomb and South Bristol) can fulfill this tall order by electing Charlotte Nutt to the State House in November. Charlotte plans to pick up the torch from Rep. Holly Stover, who is retiring due to term limits.
Charlotte Nutt will continue Rep. Stover’s vital work on affordable housing, health care access, and climate sustainability; advocate for small business owners; and support reproductive freedom. Charlotte’s education and professional experience, combined with her love for her home state, give her a solid foundation for solving local problems.
Having known Charlotte her whole life, I am excited and proud to see her embracing public service. Her work ethic and organizational abilities are as impressive as her understanding of community issues. She communicates well, being both a great listener and speaker. Her resilient, compassionate character gives her the strength to navigate Maine’s challenges.
Charlotte will bring hope and hard work to Augusta. She will partner with all her colleagues in Augusta to find solutions during these difficult times. If you live in District 48, vote for Charlotte Nutt on Nov. 3!
