Books For Babies at BHML
New year…new baby?!
Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library is excited to announce the launch of a new ongoing program: Books For Babies!
We want to celebrate our newest little readers with a warm welcome, so Boothbay Region families with babies under one (and/or expectant parents) are invited to visit the Library and receive a free baby board book.
Help us spread the word! We want families to use the library to make learning and reading with your child simple, fun, and free. It’s never too early to start reading and talking to your baby.
Early literacy experiences (talking, singing, reading, and storytelling) help develop a child’s brain during its most critical growth period. Make it easy and fun for your child to succeed later in life: read together and make a trip to Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library a part of your routine.
A library card gives you and your baby free access to:
-
books for all ages (one for the baby, one for you!)
-
A Parent/Teacher collection to help navigate difficult topics
-
Early Literacy Kits to teach concepts of color, ABCs, and more
-
Books & Buddies and Felt Story Kits for at home storytime
-
Yotos, games and many other items in our “Library of Things”
Visit the Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library and begin a lifetime of stories together. We look forward to seeing you!
