Amanda Balsdon of Boothbay Harbor died unexpectedly on April 2, 2026 at the age of 50 in Brewer, Maine.

She was born in Boothbay Harbor at St. Andrews Hospital in 1976 to Charles A Balsdon and Karen Reed. She grew up in the Harbor spending many summers out at Ocean Point. She graduated from Boothbay Region High School in 1994. She went on to have two daughters before moving to Bangor in 2006, where she resided until she passed.  

She is predeceased by her father Charles Balsdon (2025).

She is survived by her husband Dominic “Mickey” Donahoo; her three children, Alexis Davison, Marissa Davison, and Dominic Donahoo Jr. She is also survived by her stepmother Ruth Balsdon and brothers Tyler Balsdon (Amylynn), Craig Balsdon, Carl Murphy, and Dan Murphy; sisters Elizabeth Balsdon, and Lori Murphy, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
