The Boothbay Harbor Yacht Club's famous one design sailboat, the BHYC One Design, and its association held its annual on-water celebration last Saturday with races and a social gathering. The event was chaired by Association President Deborah Swan Snyder and husband Don and featured racing in very rough and tumbling waters in the outer harbor.

Winners of the event were Holly Swan with Gordon Brooks as crew sailing Mumtaz. Second place went to Liz Rettenmeier and husband Scott Blake in Eight Bells, and third place was taken by Jax and Emma Van der Veen sailing Marion's Weigh.

Awards were presented in the BHYC Clubhouse following the event.
