The Friends of the Southport Historical Society met for their annual volunteer luncheon on July 27. The annual “Historical item Scavenger Hunt,” designed by Donald Duncan, was a highlight as the volunteers scoured items in every room of the Museum looking to identify his designated treasures!
A delicious lunch was presented by Nan Jackson, and the group celebrated another (ongoing!) successful season.
The Hendricks Head Museum is open Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. through September 5.
