Appreciate being elected
Dear Editor:
Thank you, Boothbay.
This community showed up for our schools in this election, and it means so much. From every conversation to every vote cast, it’s clear how much people care about the future of our students, our families, and our town.
I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to Boothbay voters for their support in my candidacy to the school board. I’m honored by the opportunity to serve and committed to listening, learning, and working hard on behalf of our students, families, and residents. The strength of our schools is deeply connected to the strength of our community, and I’m excited to get to work.
A sincere thanks to Riley Mitchell for stepping into the race. As I learned, it’s not easy to put your name out there, and our schools—and our community—benefit when more people are engaged and thinking about solutions. I appreciate the ideas and perspectives he brought to the conversation.
I look forward to working together to support our students and strengthen our schools—there’s no better place to do this work than right here in Boothbay.
