New year of classes at Seeds of Knowledge
Seeds of Knowledge Education Center will start off the new year on January 6 with another fantastic series of workshops for children of various ages.
On Mondays, a new workshop, “Exploring Economics,” for grades 2-5, will introduce key economic principles that are necessary for making wise decisions in everyday life. Since economics is everywhere, giving children a head start in economic literacy rather than waiting for high school or college is very valuable. This class will make economics accessible and relevant to children through fun, concrete ways.
Also on Mondays, pre-K to first grade children can learn Spanish in an engaging beginner class with teacher Lissette Gonzalez-Griffin. Monday “Math Club” is ideal for early elementary children wishing to learn math by doing fun, hands-on activities and playing games with teachers Tanya Albert and Lisa Truesdell.
“Seedling Explorers” will continue on Friday mornings. This is a time for 3-5 year olds to come with their caregivers for hands-on science, social studies, and math studies led by Tanya Albert.
