Internet genealogy for beginners
If you are interested in getting to the roots of your family tree but are not sure where to begin, Central Lincoln County Adult Education is offering a course to help you get started: Internet Genealogy for Beginners.
In this course instructor, Stacy Lash will teach you how to explore your family history using free tools available on the Internet. Learn where to go to find information, how to effectively search and more. Included will be instruction on how to download and save items (PDFs, images, text) for your own records.
This one night course is Thursday, Dec. 12 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the CLC Adult Education Office in Damariscotta. The cost of the class is $19 if you register on or before December 5. All other registrations will be $24, so register early and save.
