'World of Wild Species on the Wing': A photographic journey
Tue, 09/01/2026 - 4:08pm
Join us at the Bremen Library on Thursday, Sept. 10 at 5:30 p.m. as we welcome wildlife photographer and general falconer Corrie Ann Borges for a captivating photographic journey into the lives of Maine’s winged wild species. Presentation is free and open to all!
Through stunning photography, videos, personal stories, and fascinating natural history, Corrie explores the remarkable world of dragonflies, damselflies, hummingbirds, loons, eagles, owls, bees, hawks, songbirds, and more.
The presentation also offers a glimpse into the ancient art of falconry and the lessons Corrie has learned from living and working alongside her Red-tailed Hawk, Hopper. From migration and extraordinary adaptations to survival, behavior, and conservation, Maine’s Winged Wonders celebrates the incredible diversity of life around us and encourages us to slow down, look closer, and reconnect with the wild.
