Webster Beal music fund helps newest recipient
The Webster Beal Student Music Program is pleased to announce that it has chosen Presley Crommit as its most recent recipient of music lessons and an instrument. Presley is the daughter of Brittney Warren and Cory Crommit.
She lives on Southport with her parents and younger sister. Presley expressed interest in learning how to play the violin and the Webster Beal Fund was able to arrange for lessons and an appropriate size violin. Her teacher Emily Sue Barker reports Presley doing very well.
The Webster Beal Student Music Fund was set up in memory of the late Danny Beal and Arthur Webster, who were two very popular local musicians. Its goal is to assist local students in their pursuit of exploring music.
The Fund is managed through the Opera House and information for interested students or parents can be obtained by contacting the Opera House.
