The next monthly meeting of the Visually Impaired Persons group will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 2 at 1:15 p.m. in the Community Center/Boothbay Region Health Care Center located in the Meadow Mall in Boothbay Harbor.

This will be a discussion meeting where the members share updates and progress reports on their various treatments for vision issues, whether they're having eye injections for macular degeneration, cataract surgery, or their first fitting for bifocals. There's an opportunity for questions and answers, support, and information about the latest technology and resources. The members often give away new or used adaptive equipment such as lighted magnifiers.

All are welcome, including drivers and caregivers.
