Two cars were damaged Monday afternoon in an accident near the Boothbay Harbor Opera House. Boothbay Harbor police officer Larry Brown investigated the accident which occurred just after 1:30 p.m. on Townsend Avenue.
The accident occurred between a blue Nissan Maxima and a wintergreen Subaru Forrester. The Nissan sustained damaged to the driver side’s front. The Subaru had damaged to the passenger side’s doors.
