Tickets to 'Tea by the Sea' and Summer Home and Garden Market going fast
Join us for the Boothbay Region Garden Club’s “kickoff to summer” event: our inaugural Tea by the Sea and Summer Home and Garden Market! The event, with two seatings, is scheduled for Friday, June 19 at the Boothbay Harbor Yacht Club. The 1 p.m. seating is already sold out but there are tickets remaining for the 10 a.m. seating, where guests will have first opportunity to peruse the market!
Enjoy beautiful harbor views at the Yacht Club while being served a variety of teas and an assortment of savory and sweet treats to include finger sandwiches/small bites and an assortment of tea cakes, scones, and other delicate confections!
The Summer Home and Garden Market will feature outdoor and indoor shops. The outdoor shops will feature a variety of flowers, houseplants, tools, and treasures while the indoor shops at the event will feature an array of home decor, collectibles, art, jewelry, and sweets. Credit and debit cards will be accepted, along with cash and checks.
Tickets are $55 each and are available now at https://boothbayregiongardenclub.org/
When you check out, a gluten free option will be offered to attendees for those who prefer that. Note: All ticket sales are final and there are no refunds.
Parking at the Yacht Club is limited so please carpool if possible. Valet assistance to/from the main parking lot will be available for the event. The markets will open for the morning seating at 9 and we ask attendees for the afternoon seating to arrive at 12:30 for optimum parking and exploring the markets, which will stay open until 4 p.m. for the 1 p.m. seating.
We hope you can join us for the first of what will become a Boothbay region summer tradition every other year. For those of you who have attended and loved “The Sea Around Us,” our summer Home and Garden Tour, that event will return in 2027.
The mission of the club is to promote interest in the art and practice of gardening, education, and beautification of the Boothbay region. We provide public buildings with window boxes, wreaths and plants and maintain many public gardens in the area. Scholarships are provided for YMCA camperships and college students who want to further their education in environmental studies. This event helps support and fund our community objectives.
