On a recent morning, photographer Susan Quinby captured this lovely scene in Boothbay Harbor ... a shot capturing a garden, a flag and a view of the ocean.
You might recognize these triplets. Dwight Lewis, Ruthie Lewis and Duane Lewis. This photo was given to Duane Brunell by Dwight to share with the Register following Dwight's and Duane's recent talk about their days as bridge tenders.

The Boothbay Register/Wiscasset Newspaper would like to begin a weekly series, Through Our Readers’ Eyes, where photos and a brief description are submitted to the newspaper via email. The photos should be hi-rez (1 MB up to 10 MB) and the description needs to include the photographer’s name and contact information, a 25- to 50-word description of the photo (who, what, where and when) and perhaps a title of the photo. The staff editors will decide which photos to publish and when. Submissions can be sent to news@boothbayregister.com or news@wiscassetnewspaper.com
