Telstar tops Boothbay in 8-man football opener

In Bethel, the host Telstar Rebels beat Boothbay, 20-6, in the opening weekend (Sept. 6) of Small Conference Maine 8-man football.
Boothbay's only score occurred on a Shawn Gamage run.
Boothbay hosts defending state champion Old Orchard Beach at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 12. Old Orchard defeated Orono, 60-18, in their opening game.
