Dear Editor:

Rep. Holly Stover chose to become one of my parents when I was 10 years old. There’s something special about people who choose to be parents to non-biological children; the ability to make a child truly your priority and to love them like your own is not something everyone can easily do. This kind of love takes an empathy and heart that Holly still shares with me today. 

This empathy, dedication, and compassion are traits that run deep through all aspects of Holly’s life. She’s the kind of leader that doesn’t have a “B-game,” she always gives her all. Holly has been one of the most important role models in my life. She taught me to work hard, collaborate well with others, and to be resilient in the face of adversity.

I strongly urge you to support Holly’s reelection because I want a better world for my daughter, Holly’s granddaughter, Isla. (Isla calls Holly “Oma,” which is German for “grandmother.”) The world is already a much better place because of Holly. If she hasn’t touched your life directly, she’s probably helped someone you love. 

Holly’s already proven her expertise and exceptional ability to represent District 89. Let’s reelect her to continue building on the great work she has already accomplished in the House!
