The Spruce Mountain Phoenix held Boothbay to three field goals and went on to easily defeat the visiting Seahawks, 84-14, in Jay Wednesday, Dec. 17.

Spruce jumped out to a 26-0 lead after eight minutes and cruised to its fifth win (5-0). Boothbay suffered its first loss (3-1).

Natasha McDonald led the Phoenix with 25 points, followed by Lily Bellerose with 19 and Alaina Kachnovich with 10.

Tatum French led Boothbay with five points.

The Seahawks are scheduled to next host Richmond (1-3) on Friday, Dec. 19 at 6 p.m.
